I’m not going to lie, this is my fussiest recipe yet. There are 6 different dishes here plus prawn crackers (which are absolutely from a bag & not fresh). But stay with me! It still took under half an hour and you CAN batch cook all of it, the microwave it next time you’ve got a craving, so consider it an investment in your hungry future.
At 717 calories & 51 grams of protein there’s never a bad night to have this meal, but it’s seriously helped ease the pain of not getting takeout on a hungover Sunday..
Chinese Takeout
Ingredients
Chilli Chow Mein
- 1 nest Blue Dragon Medium Egg Noodles – Blue Dragon Medium Egg Noodles
- 4 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
- 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
Chicken Curry
- 40 grams Maysan – Extra Hot Paste
- 125 grams Chicken Breast (raw weight)
- 1 Fresh Chilli
Egg Fried Rice
- 67 grams Rice (uncooked weight)
- 40 grams Frozen Peas
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
Salt & Pepper Chips
- 200 grams Mccains – Lighter Oven Chips (frozen weight)
- 1 tbsp Chinese Salt & Pepper Seasoning
Chinese Broccoli
- 4 pieces Tenderstem Broccoli
- 1 tsp Chinese Salt & Pepper Seasoning
- 1 tsp Chinese 5 Spice
Sweet & Sour Chicken
- 100 grams Uncle Bens – Sweet& Sour No Added Sugar
- 125 grams Chicken Breast (raw weight)
Prawn Crackers
- 0.5 bag Crackers – Prawn Crackers
