Garlic mayo is a thing of beauty, but it can wipe out a huge chunk of your calories & is it worth it? Honestly, sometimes.
For when you want a delicious dip/salad dressing that packs a punch of flavour and protein, this is your go to.
I’m going to give you an example recipe below, but please experiment with this! Feeling spicy? Pour in the chilli flakes. Or add Wasabi paste! Want something light & fresh? Add lemon juice or lemongrass paste.
If I’m making a spicy meal to pair this with, I absolutely love white chocolate Kvarg as a base, the sweetness pairs fantastically with garlic & spice. 0% fat Fage & low fat blended cottage cheese also work so well.
Super Easy High Protein Dip/Dressing
Ingredients
- 100 grams low fat yoghurt, quark or blended cottage cheese
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp paprika
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Put your base in a bowl
- Add flavourings slowly, stir well & taste often
- Enjoy!
